About Art House 7
Art House 7 is a cozy, vibrant, 2-story art studio tucked into a row of commercial townhouses on Langston Blvd in Arlington. We offer classes for ages 2 to adult. See pictures of our art in progress and some of our students’ fabulous work.
AH7 was started by 2 artists, Anne Browne and Elizabeth Ashley. They wanted to create both a sense of community and an inspiring, nurturing studio for people to create art, make friends and have fun. Our small yet bustling space is a haven for artists of all ages and skill levels. Our experienced instructors are passionate about nurturing creativity and providing personalized guidance. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned artist, there’s something for everyone in our diverse range of classes and workshops. We teach ceramics (the wheel and hand-building), drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, sewing, and needle felting.

Crochet - Beginning-Advanced
My daughter signed up for a a weeknight crochet class with a friend and invited me to join. What a gem of an art studio, small intimate and lively. The staff is wonderful and warm. Samantha, our crochet teacher is vivacious and positive, even when I asked for the 10th time for help! She made me confident in something that seems hopeless. The class was comprised of beginners and advanced crochet learners. Samantha helps everyone! I love her enthusiasm, the studio and class!

Art Night: Needle Felted Hearts on a String
The small group style class where we could chat while participating in the art, also learning a new crafting technique was a lot of fun, especially since we could choose our own style. It was fantastic.

Art Night: Japanese Art of Suminagashi, "Floating Ink"
This was such a cool class – it was a completely new technique for me and the instructor provided some educational background behind the process. The end results were awesome. The class size was ideal and the experience was great.
